Episode Synopsis[]

Opening Narration[]

July 28, 1945, Lori and Lyn Stewert - twin girls - are born outside the town of Truman, Minnisota. Truman turns out to be what's called a "pocket of twins". There were only four farm families in a nine square mile area, and all four families gave birth to twins. Nobody knows why. And, like many twins, Lori and Lyn seemed to have a strong psychic connection. They first became aware of this connection in high school - the day that Lyn was rushed from school to the hospital with acute appendicitis, at the very same time, Lori (who didn't know about her sister's illness) had such bad stomach pains that she had to go to the school nurse. Just coincidence? Or has biology given twins a special link? Something beyond our understanding. And if this connection is strong enough to survive physical separation, is it possible that it can even survive death?

Plot Synopsis[]

In New York, Fi and her family stay with her aunt, Rachel, twin sister of of Fi's late father. At night, Fi sees Rachel making hand motions in her sleep, and Fi places a pen in her hand, where she begins writing in an unknown language. The next morning, Fi shows Rachel the writing, but she says she does not know the language of the writing. The next night, Rachel begins writing in her sleep again, and when Fi tells her about it, Rachel confesses that the writing was a secret language that she and Rick created as kids, leading to Fi to believe the writing is her father trying to reach out through his connection to his twin. At Molly's live interview, Rachel, this time awake, is channeled again, writing in the language and Fi translates it, leading them to the roof of a sky scrapper. Finding nothing, the two begin to leave, when the door slams shut behind Rachel, leaving Fi trapped on the roof of the building, alone. Glowing cracks appear on the wall, and a malevolent being breaks through from the spirit world, and pushes Fi off the building, leaving her hanging for her life on the ledge. As her hands slip, she is grabbed by the spirit of Rick, finally appearing before her, and he pulls her back up, saving her. He warns her of the evil spirits on the other side and that he will protect her. They say goodbye and Rick vanishes.
